Pregnancy complications

I've recently had to go to the ER for bleeding and lower back pain. I was positive I had lost the pregnancy... But after blood work and an ultrasound, I found out the placenta had detached a very small bit.. I'm very worried that it could worsen. If you have had similar events happen would you be so kind to share your story with me. The doctors didn't really tell me much because they didn't know what could happen or why it happens.
