Weight gain frustration!

So I made a big boo boo!!! I've been trying to eat healthy and keep up with my exercising the first trimester. It was challenging at times due to the nausea but I tried. I actually did pretty good and I maintained my weight. Then around 10 weeks the exhaustion hit me and I could hardly drag myself out of bed to get ready for work let alone earlier to exercise (I work out in the mornings). And I had a couple crazy busy weeks so had no time (or energy) for afternoon workouts. 
Top that off with eating horrible cause I was too tired to cook and I was baking cake and treats for my sister in laws birthday! Not to mention my hubbys family came down and we ate so bad all weekend celebrating her birthday and doing our baby reveals. 
It's been a crazy few weeks. Anyways....I stepped on the scale and I gained 6 pounds! I thought I was gonna cry right then and there. 
So this week I've been back on the exercise train and semi-eating good train :s hopefully that will even things out.
Anyone else make a boo boo like me!  I am stressed already about weight gain! I want to look pregnant not just chubby all pregnancy :(
Any words of encouragement for a fellow Preggo mama? I'm 12 weeks And 2 days currently.
