Twins??

Question

Well we had out first appointment today! I'm 6 weeks 4 days. However, the Dr thought she saw 2!! And we heard two heartbeats, 139 and 103. But, she said it could be baby and a healthy yoke sac, with hearing my heart beat. Me and my husband sware we saw 2 little flutters. Anyone else had this happen???

Well when my MIL was pregnant with my husband they only saw 1 baby and 1 heartbeat. She did go into labor at 24 weeks but out popped twins. Lol so I would say anything is a possibility.

Anything's possible! Especially on ultrasounds that early, it's easy to be confused as to what they're seeing. That does look a lot like just one though. My first ultrasound picture looked just like that and it was just the yolk sac. I was almost 8 weeks here, so the fetus had grown larger than the yolk sac, but you can see how it kinda looks like two as well. :)
