I already have a midwife lined up to do the encapsulation. I was a mess after my first was born and it had an impact on our bonding, so I'm going to do everything I can to prevent that this time.

Totally natural .. we used to just eat the placenta after birth, many animals still do, with good reason. :)

My sister did it with her 3rd child but I am not planning on it. I remember being at the hospital and I was in charge of answering the phone when the "placenta lady" called to ask what room we were in 😂 I thought the whole thing was so strange then but some people swear by it.
