Here it would depend on if you are part time or full time and how many hours hr had rewired that you work.  I dropped to part time so I only get a percentage of my part time hours when on disability.

No it shouldn't. There is an 8 week qualifying period that they use to calculate your average weekly wage and then that figure is what they use for you 90 percent for the first 6 weeks. Then as long as you continue to earn more that £114 per week you still qualify dos SMP.  My qualifying period is 21st march to 16th May and my due date is 2nd September.

You should check with HR if you have one. It should be a % of your salary but depends over which period it is calculated. It may be that it is calculated upto a date earlier than when you reduce your hours.
