Would you/should you get a massage your first trimester?

I just found out 2 days ago that I'm pregnant, yay!! However my hubby and I are on vacation currently and get a free massage, it's just 25 minutes, would you do it? I can't make phone calls here so I can't call my DR.  But my friend in an ob office said it was fine just to tell the therapist.

I used to work at a massage clinic and our policy with pregnabcy was never in first trimester, second and third trimester with doctors approval. Also maternity massage is different. You have to make sure the therapist has training in pregnsncy massages as well!

We dont do it here in the Philippines. They say it can cause a miscarriage especially a foot reflex/massage.

Maybe you can tell them you're preggo and have a head or face massage instead ?

Normally they won't do massages until your second trimester bc massages in early first trimester can induce a miscarriage.
