My baby girl was born at 34 weeks due to me having pre-eclampsia. My husband came home from work to me having a seizure and rushed me to the emergency room where I had an emergency c-section on April 19th Elizabet was born at 11:23 pm. She was rushed to the NICU and I was rushed to the L&D ICU for recovery. I woke up on April 21st and got to hold my baby for the first time April 21st at 11:38 am. She's 4 pounds 9 oz , 16 inches and has the most beautiful green eyes. The first day in the NICU she was on oxygen and a feeding tube, by the 2nd day she was on 20% oxygen. 3rd day she is completely off the oxygen and doctors are working on getting her to take a bottle. My milk is slowly coming in but this morning I woke up to a soaking wet gown so next time I pump we should get a good bottle. I have to thank God for allowing my husband to come home when he did and blessing me and my daughter to make a speedy recovery. Hopefully we go home soon.
