How many embryos did you get?
I'm a little discouraged by how many embryos we have on day 1. If anyone has similar numbers (or lower) and any encouragement, I'd appreciate it.
Of the 15 eggs retrieved, 9 were mature enough to fertilize. Of those 9, only 5 fertilized normally with ICSI. The embryologist said she expects half of those to be normal by the day 5 transfer. So I guess we are expecting 2-3. We will transfer 1 and hope to have 1-2 to freeze for FET. Our doctor just thought we would have more.
Anyone still have an embryo at day 5 when they only had 5 to start with on dat 1?
