Is it safe to take folic acid twice?

I take my folic acid when I wake up and about twenty mins ago I've had my first morning sickness and threw up, I took my folic acid about 20 mins ago should I take it again incase o threw it up or is too much unsafe for the baby? I'm 8 weeks 5 days??

Are you on the standard 400 microgram ones? I have 5mg ones on prescription which are the equivalent of more than 10x the standard dose and they're safe so I don't think having an extra regular one will be a problem.

How much folic acid do you take? I don't think you can overdose on it so should be ok to take again but maybe check with your doctor x
