Can c section change feeling?

I'm almost 18 weeks with my second baby. First baby I felt move at 14 weeks. I know a lot of women don't feel baby until after 20 weeks, but I'm also confused because usually if you know what the flutters feel like, you can recognize them earlier in your second pregnancy. Just wondering if having a c section could change how I feel this baby?

I'm not sure about the c section, but I know that having an anterior placenta can cushion the kicks and movements and prevent you from feeling the baby until later in pregnancy. I'm 20 weeks and my doctor said my anterior placenta is why I can't feel my baby yet (or can barely feel him, sometimes), but I also had surgery on my uterus in 2014, so now I'm wondering....

My c section didn't change it. I felt my second move pretty early compared to first.

I found out at 16 or 17 weeks through a private ultrasound for a gender confirmation; otherwise, I would have never known. My doctors only talked about it after I brought it up. It's nothing to worry about, just where the placenta happened to land, it's just a bummer to not be able to feel him yet!

My scar tissue makes my stomach numb in spots and sore in others.. I have edema on my lower stomach too and that feels weird too.. Each one is different for sure.
