Hypocritical " my body my choice " ?

So I seen a post on here about orgon donors , and that some of the women who said that they weren't and won't become a orgon donor were getting bullied and attacked by others . I'm kind of confused on this , because I've seen a couple of the ladies who were attacking someone for not wanting to donate her organs comment on abortion forums pretty much saying " nobody has the right to make you do something with your body that you don't want to " or " not your body not your choice " and how nobody should judge another woman for what they choose to do with there body.  Is it just me or does this seem hypocritical ? Like it's that persons body and choice that they don't want to be an organ donor , just like it's a woman's body and choice to not have to carry a child inside her if she doesn't want to / isn't ready to.  
- I'm honestly just curious about what other woman on here think about this? Is it hypocritical or is it diffrent ? Please comment your view!!

I believe in body autonomy. That goes for a variety of things. Abortion, organ donation, circumcision and ear piercing. Anything that has to do with your body should be your choice.

Now for minors if it is an actual medical emergency then yes parents make that choice to save their child's life. Cosmetics should be left up to the child until they become of age.

Organ donation should be left up to the person who owns the organs.

Abortion should be left up to the person carrying the fetus.

I do think it's hypocritical to scream my body my choice for one thing and not for another.

I do wish people would be an organ doner but I can't force them to be.

It's completely hypocritical. I stand by the "my body my choice, your body your choice" saying. I refuse to donate any organs unless it's for my family or loved ones. It's not selfish, it's a right I have and I'm choosing to exercise that right. I also believe that women have the choice to abort or not, no matter what the situation. Don't like my choices? Too bad. Not your body, not your choice.

I believe it's hypocritical , it's that persons body , and if they choose not to be an organ donor than that is their choice and right , just like it's a woman's choice and right not to be forced to carry a baby they don't want . There body , there choice .

I donate blood and that's it. Now if my child or someone close needed an organ then sure. But other than that no. My choice. If you don't agree you can have my middle finger bc I don't care. 😊

You're a corpse by that point so you're not particularly sentient, like a fetus.

Not that I care what someone wants to do or not do with your own hide, or what you want done with it after you don't need it anymore. Frankly I'm annoyed I have to jump through hoops so my wife can have my spine. You have to make it sound like "it's for learning purposes" here, instead of simply wanting some of your loved ones' remains that aren't trace minerals... But I'm rambling here.

I personally do not care I'd you are a donor or not. I'm not an organ donor, but maybe at some point I will be.

However I will stick to just donating blood at the moment and will become a donor when I decide to be one. 
There may not be any reason for not being a donor, since I intend on being cremated it's not like I have a need for any of my innards, but it is not something I have taken the time and gone out and gotten a card for.

No, someone should not be bashed for not being a donor. They shouldn't be called selfish or heartless.

That doesn't mean that people inquiring why and debating it are bashing (had to elaborate because it seems as though CC has plenty of users that don't understand that this is a forum for challenging one another).

I wouldn't attack some on for not donating an organ it could be scary , but I personally am a organ donor and see no down side to it .

I believe it's their choice, but it annoys me when they say they'd accept and organ but not donate because they want to go out of the world the way they went in. Except when your life is in jeopardy huh? And it also annoys me when they imply doctors won't take care of them.
