Implantation bleeding?

Hey guys. I'm over a week late for AF -which has never happened to me before. I have had light pink spotting for 2-3 days now and today, that spotting turned brown. Because I'm crazy obsessive, I've been on Google non-stop and know that brown spotting could also be implantation bleeding (along with the light pink). With AF, I usually start off with brown/red so I am confused at to whether or not this is AF showing up late or if it's implantation bleeding. Fingers crossed!! 🙏🏻

Well it is likely not implantation bleeding, but that doesn't mean it is your period either. Implantation bleeding would occur when the egg implants, which is 6-12 days past ovulation. If you are a week late for your period already, you are likely well beyond that time frame. However, spotting is also very common in early pregnancy, so while it could be the start of AF, if may not be as well.
