Burning acrylic nails?!

So I got my nails professionally done today. They put nail primer on my nails before the acrylic. It burned so bad!! I have a high pain tolerance & I mean it when I say it burned like fire! I didn't wanna be rude so I tried to tough it out but he could tell it was hurting. I almost wanted to cry.. Lol.. He put alcohol on it and continued. My 2 nails still hurt. It's my whole nail. Not just the cuticle. One is even throbbing. I guess my question is why& what do I do? Lol.

He could have shaved your nails down too thin or cracked them to the nail bed and the acidic chemicals burned Bc they hit your nail bed. That sounds awful though.

This happened to me today she just sprayed my fingers with water snd I put them by the fan . Ik your pain . I don’t with that pain on Anyone .

The primer probably had acid it and you had an allergic reaction, try to use acid free primer next time. He could have also filled your nail down too much and made it weak.

I literally just got my nails done, and everything on now he put acrylic on literally burned so bad that I literally wanted to scream. Like it seriously felt like my finger nail was on fire. I looked up on the Internet or why it does that and someone said something about them putting too much liquid on your nail? I’m not too sure but I know what you felt because it’s horrible. Mine took about 30 seconds to a minute and then it started burning for about 30 seconds😣😣😣😣￼

Could be an allergic reaction or the chemical reaction but if it lasts more than 24 hours they need to come of or it could cause damage to your natural nails or skin around it, was it a proper salon you went to? Do you know what the acrylic was called which they used

It should stop soon. Shouldn’t have lasted long.  That’s normal although the throbbing is probably from having the set of nails period they will make your fingers almost feel heavy like . I assure u this is not an allergic reaction. If it was a reaction it sometimes takes a few days. You well have red itchy like hell bumps on your fingers around your nails, believe me you Will know. Or, you can have a reaction where you actually have allergy like symptoms or cold like symptoms , terribly sneezy, runny nose. Which I’m currently dealing with. Horrible. I’m allergic to just about every nail product you can imagine…
