Vitex made cycle irregular?

Question

Has Vitex caused anyone's cycles to be all over the place? I had a chemical pregnancy last month. 5 weeks later I have not ovulated or had any signs of AF. I've been taking Vitex and heard good things about it regulating cycles, as usually I ovulate around CD21/22 and have a very short leutal phase. Just wondered if there are any negative comments about it? xx

I tried it once due to irregular cycles. It caused me to have my longest cycle ever. But other people swear by it

It messed up my cycles badly. When did you cycles go back to normal??

Ok I so have a history slightly irregular menstrual cycle but light periods. Took vitex for about one cycle until I noted that I had not had a period in thirty days. I immediately took half dose for five days where I had period and from then on have not had a period. Forty-five days later! No period since! Careful! I may have made myself infertile until i can regulate my hormones again. 😤
