Friend help! No

So I was supposed to go to our democratic convention, I was a delegate. It was this morning and you had to be there at 9 or they wouldn't let you in. It was three hours away from our town so my friend (who is also a delegate) and I were going to leave at like 5 this morning. I had texted and called last night, she responded to one which was if she was back home yet. Then the rest were about our plans to leave in the morning. I never heard from her. So I just went to her house and called her today and no answer. So I called her bf and he said he'd wake her up and have her call me. So i am waiting in the driveway thinking she's getting ready. And 15 mins later she's still not out yet. I called one more time and no one answered. Then I got a text from her bf saying she wasn't feeling well and so she wasn't going. Now, I would believe her if I hadn't had many experiences with her like this already. They were supposed to meet up with us in CO for skiing and said all day long they were coming, only for them to not show up..saying she's on her way and being two hours late, breaking plans when we're already there, etc. Anyway, I waited over a half an hour for her! And she didn't even have the decency to tell me herself. Long story short, I wasn't going to make it to the convention in time and had to give up my seat. I cried about it like a baby. I don't know what to do..if I should say anything to her or not. She hasn't said a word to me about it. I just wish I had known sooner so I wasn't wasting my time, even though I made the choice to wait. It just sucks. And now I feel like I haven't done my civic duty and that I've let Bernie down. ):
