Am I just psyching myself out?

I just had sex for  the first time a week ago. We used a condom of course. But now my period is three days late. Is this normal, Or should I take a pregnancy test?

Honestly, since it's the first time, your period is going to be all out of whack because of the influx in hormones. It happened to me, psyched myself out and then I learned that's what had happened. Your body is now getting used to what it feels like to have sex and your cycle might get thrown off a bit because of it.

You can take a test to ease your mind. The chances of you being pregnant are really low. If you were stressed out around the time you ovulated this month, it can then delay your period. I wouldn't worry too much:)
