When to test?!

How are you supposed to know when to test for pregnancy? If your cycle is so irregular?? Or when you start showing then say oh well im pregnant? Lool

My cycles are irregular, and before I started using OPKs and tracking my BBT, my doctor told me to test six weeks after the first day of my last period (so CD 43 basically). If it was negative and my period still didn't arrive, she told me to test once a week after that. My cycles are between 35-45 days, so if yours are longer than that normally, this may not work for you. I would also strongly recommend using OPKs and tracking your BBT to pinpoint ovulation. This has been a great help for me. Good luck!!

They say to go by the dates of your longest cycle. So if sometimes you have a 20 day cycle and sometimes you have a 34 day cycle, assume this will be another 34 day cycle and test when you would expect your period. Good luck!
