Irritated gums?

Mine have felt like I just went to the dentist...I'm almost 11 weeks an my 3rd baby and this is the first time they've felt like this...anyone else experiencing this?

Omg I just made a post sort of about this! Scrolled down after posting & saw yours. My gums itch so bad & are somewhat irritated. I haven't had issues with them in the past. I brush accordingly, nothing has changed in my routine but I realllyyyyy am getting frustrated about this! I've been brushing with a toothbrush randomly all day lol.

Omg well I'm glad it's not just me...the toothbrush 😂 I've been rubbing mine on my gums off and on...this was only one day hopefully it goes away 😫

It's called pregnancy gingivitis. It's normal and caused by pregnancy hormones. Continue to brush 2-3x a day and floss regularly. Try swishing and spitting with warm salt water when it's gets bad. There's nothing the doctor or dentist can do, unfortunately.

Teeth/gum issues are totally normal during pregnancy. I read to try and floss everyday if you don't already.

It's apparently normal to have irritated or bleeding gums while pregnant.
Make sure you aren't brushing too hard, use a soft brisstled toothbrush, and make sure to brush really well but still, not too hard.
