Ultrasound?!

Question

So am currently 6 weeks and i have my first appointment with my obgyn. My first pregnancy what will happen  in this appointment? I know my baby is so little but can't  kepp the though of seeing him. Can i ask for an ultrasound  this early or how will this happen?

My firs appointment was at 5weeks I try to see my doctor as soon I could do to my miscarriage last year. But my 1st appointment was awesome she ask me a ton of questions and send me to do blood work and also give me an ultrasound appointment as soon possible.

They might do an ultrasound but I think on your first visit they do a urine test then take blood then a pap and possibly ultrasound or Doppler.

Either she'll give you an ultrasound to confirm theres a growing baby and to see the heart beat since it's still too tiny to hear on a Doppler, or they'll put it off until 8 weeks or after because that's the best time to determine dates. But there will definitely be a Pap smear, urine test, looking at weight, blood pressure, and possibly blood work.
