Period with Mirena

I had my Mirena placed mid-November of last year with bleeding for about 18 days the following week, and then no bleeding besides some spotting in the beginning of January. Now, since the last week of March, I've gotten my period every other week. It starts bright red for one day and then is like old blood for the rest of the week. Is this normal? Cause for concern?
