Asperges and sex???

Question

My partner and I have been together almost 3 years and he has asperges and sometimes I feel like we can't make love because he emotionally isn't there. Sometimes we lack in communication also because he can't always express his thoughts and emotions. Does anyone else have a partner who suffers / lives with asperges???

My partner also has a son (7 this year) from a previous relationship he does live with his mother but he is also showing signs of aspergers as well but thank you. I do try to ve understanding although sometimes it's hard to know how he feels when he doesn't understand himself

My husband has Asperger's. Open communication is key. Your partner also needs to be aware of when he's struggling and how to fix it (ie meds, compression therapy, going for a run, other exercise, etc.). Give him his space when he needs it, but if you're TTC, he should be working on managing his Asperger's and coping mechanisms, since things will be tougher when you've got a baby and he won't be able to emotionally withdraw like that anymore.
