Barre prenatal workout
Hey ladies, so im 28 weeks pregnant with my #2 and I've been doing prenatal barre workouts for over 4 months now- I definitely gained less weight this time around but also noticed that the workouts take care of any sciatic and back pain I'd have. So I've been wondering- has any of you heard that barre workout can help in labor? Or prepare a woman's body for labor better than no/other forms of workout? With my #1 I had to be induced 2 weeks after his due date, went through 23 hours of unmedicated labor and then still ended up with a c-section due to my sons alleged "too big-for me size". He weighed almost 9lbs at birth (I'm 5'5" and 116lbs pre-pregnancy). Anyway, I really feel like I want to try to vbac and that this barre workout has really done some wonders to my body with regard to the alignment of things, feeling less pressure and pain and so on. I was wondering if any of you have ever experienced something similar or have heard of someone else benefiting from barre workout during pregnancy- both when it comes to managing pregnancy symptoms as well as the labor itself. Tia!
