Birth control question!
Today was my 6 week postpartum appointment & I was prescribed lo loestrin fe. I mentioned that I read that estrogen containing birth control can mess with or even deplete my milk supply. So I mentioned the mini pill that I always hear about. (I also do not want anything implanted inside me. I rather take an actual pill for my bc.) I was informed that it's only a risk during the first several weeks while it's being established.
I'm a little weary to take this though. So I guess my question is what are you ladies doing/taking as your form of birth control & have you possibly taken the lo loestrin fe? & is there any truth to what I was told about it only mattering during the first couple weeks?
