I am on my second round of it. I did ovulate in the first month using it and that was my first time to ovulate since before I got on bc 9 years ago. So as far as I can tell, it is effective at helping women ovulate

Okay. So I just took my meds for the day. Nervous. I wasn't expecting the paperwork attached to it to be all about breast cancer and none about fertility. Took to google. I'm sure you know how that goes. So now I'm here with you guys.
Anyone else one this? Been on it in the past? Anyone else just starting today? Side effects? Success?
I'm really hoping the side effects include a sibling for my son. Ha.

I've been on letrozole for 6 months now. I'm 2 days away from testing after my 2nd IUI. I've had minimal symptoms but mood swings and most recently low sex drive's it's beyond frustrating. Just remind yourself that everyone is different and gets distant side affects or none at all! Good luck!

I took it for 1 month, got scared about all the cancer thing when I google it ( my hubby advice to me "don't Google everything". ..) and didn't try it again.But you know most medications R like that... this one is not necessary for cancer patients only otherwise my OBGY won't prescribed it...Anyway I rather that then clomid. .. It's funny I was thinking just this morning that I should go back to it this month, still have my refills at my pharmacy, when I saw your question. . Baby dust to us and all.☺

Yes. First time taking any meds for this.
This was my first month taking it. I took 3 pills a day days 3-7 it gave me migraines other than that I was good thank god because clomid in the past I took it made me evil and sick! I am also trying to give my son a sibling

I'm starting famara now on Sunday. 3 failed rounds of Clomid last year - apparently some women just don't respond to Clomid. I had no follicles on Clomid, feeling soooo hopeful with the famara! Doc put hubby on Prellox to improve sperm motility. fingers crossed for you babe!

Hi Randa thanks for asking... I wasn't feeling good My OB has a laporascopy planned on June 17th I have a suspected Adenomyosis Did you ladies heard about this before , it's different from Endometriosis.

Hi I am on my first cycle of Letrozole on day 4 (have to take it on days 2 till 6)The only side effects I seem to have had so far is that I have been really emotional and bit snappy I was diagnosed with PCOS so hoping Letrozole will hell me ovulate

I got mine but not sure I can take it I was in the ER this past week end due to extreme lower abdominal pain for 2 days , an ovarian cyst that bursted but for some reasons couple hours ago it's back again .I don't get it !
