Is a person still considered a mother after a miscarriage?

I'm curious to know what do you guys think. Let me know your thoughts. Do you consider someone a mother still if they were expecting their 1st child but has a miscarriage? Just wondering what do you ladies think?

I consider myself to be. My first miscarriage would have been due this past April 22. I wear the birthstone as a memory of the baby we lost. Still trying for our rainbow baby ❤️

I consider myself a mom. We celebrate Mother's Day and Father's Day. Just because your baby isn't physically here doesn't make you no longer a parent.

Absolutely. It hurts but just like other children you remember due dates and the day you lost the pregnancy just like you would a birthday.

A friend of mine actually got me a ring that reminds me even though I've lost 4 pregnancies and I'm a step-mom, I'm still a mommy

Yes you are, I dont care what people day. Both my sister in law and best friend miscarried and their mothers. (Both now have their rainbow babies) I got them cards and gifts on their 2st mothers day  (after their miscarriages) they were both thankful. Once you become pregnant your a mother. :)
