Discouraged

At my appointment yesterday I was completely effaced and 1cm dilated. Last night I had increasingly painful contractions for 3.5 hours. They went from 15 minutes to 10, to 5 and finally to 2 minutes apart. 2 minutes apart for an hour! But of course, as I'm getting myself ready to head to hospital, they completely stop. I was so hoping this would be it, that I'd be able to do this on my own. I had to be induced with my first, I was 42 weeks, 0% effaced and 0cm dilated. I thought this time around my body would cooperate. 😔 I guess I just needed to vent to anyone that wasn't family.
