Transvaginal ultrasound?

I know this might be a weird question, but I am soon to get a transvaginal ultrasound and was wondering if it is painful? And if it causes spotting after? Please help?xx

Just pressure and slight awkwardness. Really no different then sex itself. Any time the cervix is touched you may spot because it's covered in blood vessels.

Uncomfortable more so than painful. It can cause spotting, but I've had quite a few this pregnancy and haven't spotted at all.

It's smaller than a penis lol. So if you're pregnant, no.... No it won't hurt lol

It's not painful at all.  It's just a bit of pressure. They tell u that "it may cause spotting" and that's normal really. .just like a pap smear might cause spotting. But most of the time u have no spotting at all.

It is not bad...just don't clench your muscles. If it would be easier for you ask if you can insert it...that way you can control the pressure. Then lay back and relax. 
I have never had spotting after.

It doesn't hurt but mine did cause me to bleed a little!

Not painful at all! Unless you haven't had sex in a looooong time! I get them every 2 weeks for a shirt cervix and the last one kinda hurt because I've been in bed rest for over 1 1/2 months and no sex was part of the bed rest. Just relax and let it happen I usually make fun of my husband or the ultrasound tech so I don't think about it .. It's kinda awkward
