Double strollers?

Hi! I am about to have my second daughter end of June, and I was wondering how many moms with more than one child have found it helpful to have a double stroller? Or is it a waste of money? I am overwhelmed by how much I've had to spend recently and my daughters birthday is in July so we have a lot of expenses building up. Just wondering if it's worth it?

for me it was worth it. i just stick both my girls in there and i run around doing all my shopping or whatever without worrying about chasing this one or watching that one... it works for me. but i know everyone's situations are different. it works great when we go to places with big crowds too.

Right now not very often since I don't really go out. But I went out with a friend and her baby, they have a double stroller,  and my daughter insisted on riding in the stroller with him. So I'm worried she will want to ride in it just because sister is in one. Or want to be carried if I put her in the stroller and baby sister in the carrier. Im not really sure how she'll react.
