Does anyone else have trouble getting their child to share, with other children?!

Lol I'm sorry for laughing but I have a only child. She is now 7 and still everythig is hers. I think that's goes with being a only child and never having someone around to have to share with all the time. Now I'm married and he has a only child as well. They are both the same dislike sharing and everything is mine. Lol I believe I have tried my hardest to teach her to share but alas some days the it's mine wins over.

He is a only child. And when we visit my friends, who have kids around his age he doesn't want to share when playing. However neither does the other children. I wonder if this is normal, or if I've just spoiled him. He is 19 months old and also going through a "mine" phase. He thinks EVERYTHING is his.

My son (only child) is 7 also and still lays claim to everything. But pre-k helped a lot with sharing.
