Are mouth ulcers/ canker sores a sign of pregnancy?

I'm 13 dpo and have a sore mouth, with about 3-4 mouth ulcers.
I can't test for 4 more days when my period is due.
Are ulcers/ cankers sores a sign of pregnancy?

I get them frequently, but saw no increase with either pregnancy. Start taking a daily lysine supplement.

I get them before my period ever since I had my son 5 years ago.

I have heard of problems with inflammation during pregnancy but I know from experience that eating or drinking acidic things wreak havoc on the mouth. My diet used to be high in things like tomato sauce and black coffee, ditched the coffee and spicy foods and my mouth cleared up within a week. I can't ditch tomatoes though, so I cut back and haven't had any problems (so far).
