Who in the delivery room?

So I originally planned to just have my boyfriend and my mom in the delivery room. Well today I talked to my boyfriend mom and she was hinting around at being in the delivery room. I don't really know how I feel about it, I don't know her very well I have only met her in person once (she lives a few hours away) so I don't know if it'll feel uncomfortable having her there or if I just won't even care at that point haha. She texts me all the time and is trying to be really involved with the pregnancy which is great! So I would feel bad telling her no..
So i guess I just want to know who you allowed in the delivery room with you and what you guys recommend!

Do NOT feel bad! The delivery is such a personal experience-- have in there only whoever will help calm you, not stress you, and who you really want in there. Everyone else can wait and see you and baby when you're good and ready. I'm not sure where this expectation of "I want to be in there so I should be in there" has come from in this day, but that's just absurd. I see and read about it way too often! With my first, I had my husband, sister, and best friend in the room- with my second, it was just me and hubby. With this third, it will again be just me and again. There's a certain intimacy with it just being us while baby is born, and a different kind of special when we can introduce our newest to the rest of the family.

I had my mom and my boyfriend! That's who I felt comfortable with!dont feel bad! And if you need to get your doctor to say you can only have two people in there!

Don't feel bad if you don't want her or anyone in the delivery room. It's your choice and everyone should respect it.
Starting out I only had my sister until it came down to pushing. Then I had both my parents ,sister and husband. Those are the most important people in my life and I wanted them to see if they agreed.
Again all I can say is do what you feel works best for you.

My husband and I didn't tell anyone we were in L&D until an hour after the baby was born and we didn't allow anyone to come up until the next day. Truth be told I didn't even know my hubby was there I didn't want to be bothered by anyone while I was in labor lol

Don't feel bad! The day should be about what makes you most comfortable. I'm having a c section but if I was to have a vaginal birth there's just no way I would have my MIL in that room. Husband and mom only! Lol

I already have people in my family thats saying their gonna be in the room and i remain silent because when that time comes im gonna tell the hospital staff only 1 to 2 is allowed hahaha! Thats gonna shut all them down. I really do t wanna be bothered with people all in my face trying to crack jokes, take annoying ass picture because id hate to cuss them out and we fall out. But at that time im going to need silence flat out.

I'm having my fiancé, my mom and his mom... My sis in law wants to be there to but I feel like I wanna make everything fair. If my mother is going to be there then his mother should be there to. I don't want to leave anybody out. My sis in law can be there while I'm in labor but I can only have 3 people in the room when the baby is coming out
