Celebrate today or not?

So, I'm kinda bummed. I believe I can celebrate Mother's Day as a "Mom-to-be." My husband believes otherwise.

He should be treating every day you're pregnant as Mother's Day! Foot rubs, bubble baths, the works!

I basically just had a relaxing day... I napped, and my hubby did the cooking and bought me some hanging flower baskets for the patio and some for my window boxes.  Nothing extravagant, but enough to make it a bit special.

Yes! Being a mom doesn't even mean having a child outside the womb. Many mommies lose their precious babies inside them but that doesn't take away from them being a mother. Being pregnant and carrying a child declares you a mommy. Celebrate that!

My husband felt this way at first. Now he is all about me celebrating, but he ended up with the flu, so we couldn't!

My husband brought me flowers and made dinner yesterday for "Almost Mothers Day". He thought he was so cool ever to think of doing it on Saturday. I thought it was cute but his family thought it was not great to call me "almost" a mother.
