I was talking to my boyfriend, I told him that we need to start using condoms because I'm on a round of antibiotics and that can cancel out your birth control. I said "we need to start using condoms, my meds can knock out my birth control and cause me to ovulate, so we need to be extra cautious with sex for a while" he said "... Ovulate? What is that?"
I said that's when an egg is released from the ovary. He said "oh yeah like to be.. Fermented?"
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I started laughing so hard and he just kept looking at me. Apparently he didn't get sex Ed in school and doesn't know anything about the female body like whatsoever. He just knows that if I'm not on birth control I can get pregnant.
I said "no dork! That's fertilized! Fertilization is what happens when sperm meets egg and it creates a pregnancy, birth control prevents ovulation so that doesn't happen"
He's all looking at me like 😮😮😮
I had to go into what ovaries are, what time of the month a woman ovulates and what exactly a period was. I'm like so blown away because he's one of the smartest people I know however he literally knew nothing about this and said "fermented" instead of fertilized. Like oh lord man.. What even 😂😂
