Does the whooping cough vaccine hurt?

Also does it hurt afterwards? I've heard it stings so bad and leaves you with a super sore arm. Also what are the chances of flu like symptoms after?

Getting it didn't hurt at all, but your arm will be sore for a few days. Make sure you're moving your arm around a lot and to massage the muscle you got the shot in. It'll help it to get less sore and stiff. You'll still be able to use your arm and everything. Just gonna feel a little bruised for a few days.

I did not have any discomfort nor did my hubby.

Ask them to do it on your right arm, it was sore to lay on for a couple of days and I have horrible heartburn when I don't lay on my left side (where I got the shot).

Stung for a second and I only was sore when the injection site had pressure on it

I just got it today and my arm is a little sore. Not like I can't use it or anything but I can definitely feel it. No other symptoms though.

Definitely no flu like symptoms. The bandaid coming off hurt more than the shot going in. Make sure you move your arm a lot right after (I did some shoulder shrugs on the way home). The muscles may be a little sore but that only lasted about two days for me.

Mine hurt like heck when it was going into my arm, I did have a slight knot after but no pain or soreness.
