For the second day in a row someone in our apartment has called animal control on me and our puppy. He is not a pitbull (they are banned here and we weren't going to get one because of the ban.). He is a purebred Dogue De Bordeaux aka French Mastiff. No pitbull in him at all. He is still getting used to his new home and his voice (which I am training him right now to stop barking on command and he is learning quickly.) amongst other things. The only thing he "attacks" are leaves. He has never shown aggression towards anybody or any other dog. And yet two people here are trying to have him taken away. I overheard one of them saying "her dog won't stop barking and acts aggressively. She is still on the porch and I can't take my dogs outside."

His dogs both have tried to attack me and his door is nowhere near our porch area. They never shut up and the list goes on and on. He has walked past us numerous times and our puppy hasn't acted aggressively towards him or anybody else. He just wants to play. I am sad that I feel as if I can't take ours outside for fear of him being taken away because someone else is being a jerk.
