When to seek professional help?

Chelsea • Mommy to Connor after 3 years of infertility, 2 rounds of IVF, the loss of our son Colt and another angel baby.
So my hubby and I will be one year of ttc in February.  I know it is a few months away but I am curious about when and where to find professional help for possible fertility issues!  My thought is that around the one yr mark, I should make an appt to discuss my concerns.  Should I go to my Gynecologist (who is a midwife) or my regular doctor??  Any thoughts and experiences would be great :)

I started with the accupuncturist. I wanted to try the natural route first. Here we are 17 wks tomorrow. It took a month and half of acupuncture treatments for me to conceive after trying for 2 years.

My ob said that we will make a "fertility plan" if I'm not pregnant by January (our 1 year mark).

Definitely go see your OBGYN. They will be able to do most of the testing to attempt to pinpoint any issues you may be having. If things are out of their realm of understanding, they can refer you to a specialist.

I went to my gyno first they can answer questions and most of the time they know how to help and if they don't they can point you in the right direction also your so may want to go to the doctor too for a checkup and make sure his swimmers are healthy
