My husband is apart of the masons

My husband is apart of the Masonic brotherhood, or whatever it's called and that never really bothered me. He can have interests and hobbies that's fine. I have hobbies, but he knows what I'm doing when I tell him I'm painting or swimming, he can come watch or clearly see what I am doing. I just recently became extremely paranoid about the whole mason thing. Why can't I know what he's doing? It's just a little strange to me. I'm pretty sure it's my hormones going wild, but I become extremely upset when I think about it. He's getting initiated into the 3re degree in a couple of weeks. He texted his friend who is also a mason to invite him. I saw a text when he was out of the room that said, "Just know everyone had to go through this, it will be okay, and trust your brethren." I got curious what they were going to do to him and I googled it and found a ton of strange things. I found were they like haze them, and make fun and stuff, and I read where they watch you change into this outfit. It just kind of makes me feel violated I'm not sure why. He wants me to join the eastern stars or whatever, but I said no, because I just don't like the feeling that I'm not in control and there are people over me. Does anyone on here have a husband in the masons, and how do you deal with it? How can I put my mind at ease?
