How soon is too soon to leave the baby?

So, I was asked to be in my boyfriend's cousin's wedding way before I found out I was pregnant. The wedding is this coming January 2017 and her bachelorette party is the first week of January in Puerto Rico. My due date is around mid October. So my newborn will be three months old and I kind of feel like that's too soon to leave the baby. I really would love to go on this trip, but I don't want to be a drag and miss the baby and feel guilty about being so far away.

I started letting my Lo get babysat at 3 months :) it's perfectly fine if it's with someone you know and trust

My graduation present was a cruise from my grandparents. My daughter was 4 months old. It was a 5 days trip. I went. Felt sad half the time but I knew she was fine back at home with her dad. It wasn't hard to leave because I was used to her being in the NICU for the first 3 months of her life an hour away from my home. Saw her every day but hardly any nights unless she went into her surgeries. But I think it's up to you and you the baby would be staying with.

It will always feel tooo soon. Welcome to motherhood. I've never had an event to leave for so I can't say that I wouldn't have gone.  I didn't leave my 1st two overnight anywhere before they were 1. There was just no "NEED" to. Probably would have made it work to go and maybe take the baby.

It's totally up to you. Whenever you feel comfortable. There really isn't some recommended time frame. I personally would go on the trip but if you don't think you'll have fun then stay home. How long is the trip exactly?
