Debt and relationships

This morning my fiancé and I had a huge fight over yet another stupid thing, he broke the cookie jar, and it created an avalanche of all the past issues we've had....including our debt. We have only been together a little over a year and have accrued quite a bit of debt in the last few months. We've tried everything to make sure that we stick to our budget but nothing seems to work. Is there anything that can help us?
