Routine physicals

I had my annual women's exam yesterday and told her all of the steps we were taking ttc. After completely my exam, hearing my history, etc she asked the last time my husband had a physical. She said without doing bloodwork and ultrasounds and everything, she said either we are completely missing the fertile window or there's a deeper lying issue. She said its way cheaper for him to get his physical and sperm count then it would be for me to get all the tests. My husband HATES doctors, and since we've been together (5 years) he hasn't been to one. At what point do they realize how important it is...? Anyone else have this issue?
