I'd rather have a mix of the 2. Part-time hours so I still have a level of independence and do the main kid duties. Husband wants the same deal so maybe we'll both do it.

I've always worked full-time as a mom and if I could afford it I would JUMP at the chance to be a stay at home mom!

I am well educated, worked in corporate etc, and I do not feel that by me staying home to raise our son is a waste of my talents. He is, and always will be my greatest accomplishment despite the success on my resume.

We could easily live off just my husband's salary but I worked too hard to get where I am to give it up and stay at home. I plan on going back to work 4 months after.

The plan was to be a stay at home mom but we quickly learned that we can't do everything on one salary 😢 so now I'm going to have to go back to work in a few months

i would give a medal to all SAHMs, it's hard work and i would rather go to office every day than do their job. 
on the other hand, even though i adore my husband and future child, house work does not fulfill me at all. i love my work (i'm a teacher) and get terribly bored during summe holidays 😄

If we could afford it, I would.  It's a pain to schedule everything after school, can't take a day off 99% of the time.  + i have no time to do anything between work& sports & extra curriculars.

I can't imagine being a sahm, I plan to go back to work full time. I highly doubt we would be able to live off one wage even if we wanted to

I was a stay at home mom with my son. If my new husband and I have a baby, he'll be the one staying home.
