Ttc too soon?

Question

Hello. We lost our little girl sept 19th 2014 at 23 weeks. It was so difficult to be induced and deliver a baby we knew had passed already but are in a much better place and still dealing with the grief but feel ready to ttc already. I have had one cycle and the doc told us to wait two cycles but we forgot to use condoms a couple of times. Is this too soon to ttc?

I honestly don't think that there is a right or wrong answer. Many will have their own opinion but really the only one that matters is yours. ??

I dont think theres a right or a wrong when you ttc again we lost our little boy theo at 42 weeks on the 1st sept 2014 were trying to conceive we started trying about a month after once my stitches had healed. Its one of those things that just takes time but you cant stop trying and can't ever give in trying our angels wouldnt want us to we gotta be strong and when you feel its the right time and your ready try its all down to your mind and body when its ready fingers crossed for you all ttc xxx

Hi Christi, I am very sorry for the loss of your little baby girl :(.
My son Zachary was still born at 41 weeks this april and my periods were messed up for a month or 2 after. We started trying after 2 Cycles the consultant just advised us to take folic acid if we wanted to try again. I took folic acid and also vitamin b6 as it regulates hormones. It has taken us 6 months to conceive you just need to listen to your body. Wishing you all the luck in the world. xxxxx

I'm so sorry for your loss. I too lost my DD Chloe on 10/25/14. I've missed her everyday since. My dr told me 2-3 cycles but I've heard women during there 6wk pp already pregnant.

I personally think it's too early we waited a year my littler girl passed at 24 weeks October 23rd 2013 and we are just now trying again.

We found out at our 36 week appointment that our daughter no longer had a heartbeat. My doctor said we could try whenever we were ready, and my body wouldn't get pregnant until it was ready. It took almost 3 months for me to even have a period again.

It's whenever you feel ready. In October I gave birth to a sleeping baby boy at 40 weeks on his due date and have been ttc since March. Had a chemical in May. Back to ttc. I have had 6 miscarriages before my son. In my heart we were ready to try again but I know some that won't try for years because they take longer to work through their grief. It's never too early and never too late. Whenever you are physically and mentally ready is ok.

I agree. I don't think there is a right or wrong answer. You have to do what feels right to you. We lost our son, Cullen, on 4/25/15 a day after his due date, and we were back at try exactly a week later. I was just so desperate to fill that emptiness that I couldn't wait. We still haven't conceived yet, but we aren't giving up.
