I've always been regular. I haven't had a period the last 3 months. I went to the doctor, got a test, I'm not pregnant. What are the different reasons girls miss their periods (other than the obvious👶🏼)?

Periods can be late/missed due to emergency contraceptives, illness, stress, sudden change in weight or unhealthy weight, medication, birth control, starting sports/exercise, your cycle syncing with another woman's cycle, surgery, pregnancy, hormone imbalance, irregular cycle. There's a bunch of stuff that messes with our uteruses lol

My sister hasn't had hers in months and I'm pretty sure it's because she constantly works out and eats barely anything.

Sometimes if u get into sports or working out your period tends to start spotting or just stops for a bit. And also if your really stressed about something your period tends to be late.

I skipped a period because of stress. I thought it was a myth but it's so real lol. Then I stressed because I thought I was pregnant and it probably delayed my period more. 😬
