What does Braxton Hicks feel like?

I'm 36 weeks today and am really curious as to what Braxton hicks are suppose to feel like? Did anyone not get them at all? And if you did when did it start? Is it weird to not have it?

Mine feel like a tightening in my belly. My whole stomach goes hard and its very uncomfortable for about 10 seconds and then it goes away.

For me it feels just like period cramps in my back and stomach and my bump tightens

I had none whatsoever with my first, if I did I didn't notice them. Now with my second I get a few a day, just a tightening of stomach and it goes quite pointy then relaxes after a few seconds! More uncomfortable than painful, nothing in comparison to REAL contractions! 😊

It's not painful for me, but my entire tummy gets tight and now that I'm 36 weeks, I actually feel like they very slightly take my breath away.

Belly gets hard and tight, I suddenly feel like I have to pee real bad. Uncomfortable but not real pain. I've been getting them since early second trimester (same with my last pregnancy).

i had BH for 30 hours straight feels like tightening that takes my breath away and i have to breathe like if it was a real contraction...i had cramps and at the end began having back pain! they were 5 mins apart at the end lasting between 15 seconds to 45 seconds but not much pain just major discomfort

Mine I feel my stomach tighten. Sometimes I feel period like cramps in my low abdomen and back with the tightening, other times it's just tight.

I've gotten them once in awhile and only on left side and days when I have not had enough water. To me it feels like a sharp shooting pain down my left side, kind of like cramps or a pulling. They're not supposed to hurt but mine do!
