Okay, ladies.. I have a question!

Is it tacky to ask guests not to bring toys as a gift for a 1 year olds bday party? My son already has a ton of toys, and I don't really want him to get anymore! Would it be okay just to tell them if they want to bring a gift to just bring diapers, wipes, clothes or shoes? If it's okay, how would you word it? Please, no rude comments!
