How did your SO ask you out, or you ask them out?

Just thought it would be a cute fun topic.

My SO and I went to an aerial show together and spent the entire day together in a different city, where we dined and had the best pizza EVER; watched the show, and continuously exchanged flirty compliments, and kisses, etc. He asked me to be his girlfriend right when the fireworks rose into the air. ☺️

This sounds aweful but we met on a video game lol, both of us would come home from work and school and play together then go our separate ways, he lived in Florida I was in NC. At the moment he has a girlfriend. We where completely just friends, for about 2 years we played together online to chill after a hard day. One day I never saw him go online anymore, I missed my gaming buddy! I remember he left me his phone number (I never had texted him because I didn't think it was appropriate, considering it's a guy I met on a video game) I was worried something bad might have happened so I texted him to see if everything was okay, turned out his girlfriend cheated on him while he was at army bootcamp! I wanted to make him feel better because he seemed totally withdrawn from everything, so I would hang out online with him when I could, and text him random memes every once in a while, LOL. I never thought of him in a romantic way ever. We became long distance friends then long distance best friends. We talked every day, texting, phone calls, gaming. One day when he was drunk he told me he loved me, but the fact he was drunk made me completely disregard that. Until he said it again sober, and asked me to be his gf. I said no, because it spelled disaster. I haven't even met him in person, I didn't know if he still had feelings for his ex and I didn't want to get hurt or loose him as a friend. But after about a month I said yes. About 6 months later I decided to break it off, long distance relationships don't normally go anywhere and I wasn't ready for the pain. I got a phone call about a week later, it was him, and he said he got on a plane to come see me, he got a hotel to spend some time in my home city, and he said that I needed to meet him before I decided to. Real it off, it was only fair. So I met him, and we hit it off emediatly. I've never clicked with anyone so fast before. And now, 3 years later, I'm sitting in his bed with a ring on my finger:)

Mine started out as a hookup at a party and I guess we just really hit it off because he would ask me to hang out a lot and not sex. So then after a month or so of hanging out he said 'all I want is you. I want it to just be you and me. Do you feel the same way' and I said yes and he said 'okay then that's that you're my girl'

We met through mural friends list on Facebook and we talked in there for almost a year until we finally met. We started going on dates but we never made it official since I didn't want to date in high school since we were going to different schools. I graduated  in early January and he tried asking me out and I told him not until he graduates. So the day after he graduated, he took me to a lake in our town and asked me after us having a cute picnic and playing around the water. And we've been dating for three years, but officially for about 11 months

I originally met him online and when I met him in person for the first time we hung out and I met his best friend and his fiancé and their son then we went back to his house and I met his parents and then we went in his room and he was like so are you my girlfriend?? And I said yes.

My SO and I were on our first date and we were laying in the park just looking up at the stars and he asked me "so when can I call you my girlfriend" and inside I just kind of panicked but I was like okay be cool about it don't act desperate or anything and responded with "whenever you ask" and I internally congratulated myself for being so cool about it and I really didn't think he'd ask on our first date but when he came out with "will you be my girlfriend" I panicked and was like "what?" And he was like "well I do like you" blah blah blah I couldn't really hear him because I was just in my own mind panicking but then I was like "okay just ask me again so I don't sound stupid" and he came up with all these cheesy lines that made me laugh. It was great and we still talk about it today

we met through mutual friends. he was playfully flirting with me for a couple weeks but i disregarded it because he had a reputation of being a bit of a player. we made plans to hang out with our mutual friends, but one of them cancelled, and then the other friend cancelled because she "didnt want to be a 3rd wheel" even though i insisted there was nothing going on between us. he brought me a red rose, and thats when i started to think maybe he actually does like me. 
we went ice skating in the park and held hands, and he gave me his jacket when i got cold. while walking through the park back to the car, we stopped under a tree and he kissed me!. for the next week we were at the really awkward "what are we" stage but the next weekend he took me to see the new star wars movie and right before it started he gave me a necklace that had a key with his name on it and told me i had the key to his heart and he asked me to be his girlfriend 😊
