I am enough to see!!

So, just a rant. I just made my first doctor appointment today. I told her that I had 2 LEEP procedures done and was very nervous about miscarrying. She said "the LEEP procedures won't make a difference in when your seen. We will just follow up with the appropriate pap smears" and she gave me an appointment for 10 weeks along (I'm 6 now).

When I asked why it was so late she said "before 8-10 weeks there really isn't much to see." .............

Um mm hello?!? Who am i?? I am enough to see!! I have questions and concerns. And what if this wasn't my 2nd pregnancy and I didn't know what vitamins to take or things to avoid?? You want me to wing my pregnancy with books and the internet for the next month? At least if they did an ultrasound at 6 weeks I could see the dark sack on the screen, and probably even the tiny beating white dot that is its heart. At least I would feel better instead of constantly checking my boobs to make sure they're still sore or taking tests just to see how dark the line is...

There is very much to see before 8-10 weeks, it's called the mother.
