** update Has this happened to you?

Went to the dr today for my 39 week check up and I still wasn't dialated and only 50% effaced. She told me she was going to force her finger in my cervix. It hurt like hell she said she got her finger tip in there and touched the baby's head. Is that normal and could it cause labor? Okay so as of today 5/17 I e been crampy all day started timing my contractions they have been 5 mins apart for an 1 hr 1/2 . Been loosing my mucus plug every time I wipe. Have been having hot flashes as well. Good , bad or normal?
