Wash everything ?

Do you ladies wash EVERYTHING from the baby shower including towels mittens socks blankets bibs ? Or am I over doing it ? Lol

I've never washed anything. But I have three kids so I'm probably a little less paranoid then a new mommy.

Yes i washed everything! People touch everything at the stores and you don't know where their hands have been. I wash everything.

Yes if you knew how many bugs and rodents are probably in warehouses that clothes r stored in! Yuck, everything gets washed in sanitary cycle!

I do wash everything. This is my third go round but I will still wash everything before letting him or her wear it. If it's a boy I will even wash the stuff that's been in storage.

I wash everything, all the new baby clothes and all. Think of it, even though you're getting new clothes, apparel for your baby, it's been handles a 1000 times, from the company who got the fabric to the Chinese laborer who sew it, then others who packaged it then moved it to box then shipped it to US. And then more people handled the good to storage to delivery and retails shop. Not even mentioning how many customers shop and touch the baby clothes your bought. So yea, I do wash everything, since all the stuff you buy been handled by 200 people if not more.

I washed everything i got at my baby shower sunday today and didnt put it in his organizer with his clean clothes until so . I think clothing / blakets / towels / everything should be washed before my son is here, because just think about how many times those thing fell on the floor or how many people touched them with dirty hands.
