Counting kicks?

Ladies, how do you count? My baby likes to drum its feet. Is that a single kick? Also it is active for 15 minutes at a time, kicking a lot in that time.

Answer

The only time you should worry about counting is if you haven't felt the baby move in an hour or more, then you would have to sit or lay down until you can feel your baby moving. I don't really count since once my baby starts, he keeps on going. Most doctors won't even ask you how many kicks. They just want to know if the baby is still moving - that's what matters.
